By engaging Prime Point Surveying for inspection services or using our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Services

Prime Point Surveying provides independent building inspection and consulting services. Our services include, but are not limited to, pre-purchase inspections, PCI / handover inspections, defect reports, dilapidation surveys, warranty inspections, and maintenance reports.

All inspections are visual in nature and limited to accessible and visible areas at the time of inspection. We do not carry out invasive, destructive, or structural testing unless specifically agreed in writing.

2. Scope of Inspection

Our inspections are conducted in accordance with the relevant Australian Standards where applicable. Reports reflect the condition of the property at the time of inspection only.

We do not inspect items that are concealed, inaccessible, or outside the agreed scope. This includes items behind walls, under flooring, within ceiling spaces not safely accessible, and underground services.

3. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from inspection services is limited to the fee paid for those services. We are not liable for consequential, indirect, or economic losses.

Our reports are prepared for the use of the client named in the engagement only. Prime Point Surveying accepts no responsibility for reliance on the report by any third party.

4. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes any rights or guarantees you are entitled to under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. Where permitted, our liability is limited to the re-supply of the services or a refund of the service fee paid.

5. Payment

Payment terms will be communicated at the time of booking. We reserve the right to withhold delivery of reports until payment has been received.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled inspection may incur a cancellation fee.

6. Report Delivery

Reports will be delivered electronically via email in PDF format. Standard turnaround is within 24–48 hours of the completed inspection, unless otherwise agreed.

7. Accuracy of Information

The client is responsible for providing accurate property access details and any relevant information prior to the inspection. Prime Point Surveying is not liable for deficiencies in the inspection caused by inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client.

8. Intellectual Property

All reports, documentation, and content produced by Prime Point Surveying remain our intellectual property. Reports may not be reproduced, republished, or distributed without our written consent.

9. Website Use

The content on this website is provided for general information purposes only. While we take care to keep information current, we make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the content.

We reserve the right to update or remove website content at any time without notice.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
